FLAGSTAFF FOLK FESTIVAL IS THIS WEEKEND!

Flagstaff Friends of Traditional Music will present the 11th annual two-day Flagstaff Folk Festival Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the grounds of the Coconino Center for the Arts and the Pioneer Museum, 2300 N. Fort Valley Road.
The festival will feature folk and acoustic music performed by more than 150 musicians on four stages. This event is presented through a partnership of three local organizations: Flagstaff Friends of Traditional Music, Flagstaff Cultural Partners and the Arizona Historical Society Pioneer Museum.
The event will include individual and group acts, including fiddlers, folk singers, string bands, jam sessions, a band scramble and more. There will be workshops, open to all festival attendees, covering various instruments (past workshops have covered everything from ukulele to autoharp to lead guitar playing) and such topics as songwriting and instrument care.
Admission is $3 per person or $9 per family. Food vendors will have cold beverages, snacks and meals for sale. Stages are both inside and outside, covered, and seating is provided.
